Cycling route from Sha Tin Rural Committee Road to Yuk Wo Court, Fo Tan

I'm sure many of you have been to the New Town furniture shop. Did you know there is a cycle track there too?
This Loco vlog starts on Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, and it begins with a big slope. If you are short on energy, get off and push when it is safe.


After the footbridge there is a U-shaped downhill. Check that the brakes are working properly before you descend.

When you ride, you usually follow the Shing Mun River.
This time we take another route, the cycle track behind Lek Yuen Estate and Wo Che Estate. It is clearly much quieter.

After Wo Che Estate, turn left and drop into a tunnel. Does this tunnel look familiar?

It is actually one of the filming locations for the film Beyond the Dream, and the Light Rail in this shot was of course added afterwards.

After the Beyond the Dream tunnel, keep riding the cycle track. Trains run right alongside, and quite a few rail fans shoot here.
