Cycling route from Shek Mun to University Station

Route | Shek Mun > Waterworks Street > University Station

Set off from Shek Mun Playground. Once you are through the tunnel, you are back at the Shing Mun River everyone knows so well.


This stretch of cycle track is clearly quieter than the racecourse, and the view is still good!

Then you come to the twin bridges, which you pass on almost every ride. You may have shot straight across in the past.
Next time, try stopping and taking in the view on both banks of the Shing Mun River.


Past the stables, turn into Waterworks Street. This time we turn left and climb.
You may have ridden past, but you might not know this is a popular photo spot for rail fans!
Next time you pass, take a good photo.

After the downhill, go into the green tunnel. That means the destination is close.

The end of the cycle track is University Station, and there is bicycle parking. Park the bike properly when you are done.
