Hong Kong Velodrome
You can tell from the name that it means business! But I'm nowhere near as strong a cyclist as an athlete...
The velodrome is not only a cycling track. It also has a gym, a children's playroom and other facilities.

Hong Kong Velodrome Park
The park covers about 5.3 hectares. That is only 1/4 the size of Victoria Park, but it is packed with facilities, such as a children's playground, an elderly fitness corner, a lawn terrace and a model-boat pool.

Every spring this is when the Taiwan cherry and the Yoshino cherry are in bloom. They do not grow as thickly as in Japan, but they are enough to take the edge off being homesick.

Ming Tak Home Court
A basketball court you can photograph? The basketball court on the roof of the Ming Tak Shopping Centre car park in Tseung Kwan O finished its renovation in January 2021.
It is also Hong Kong's first female-friendly sports ground! Besides the bright colours, there are quite a few photo spots, such as the motivational lines on the fence and a "Rest Zone" where you can warm up and stretch.

Hang Hau Man Kuk Lane Park
Man Kuk Lane Park in Hang Hau is laid out as a modern Chinese garden, with a walkway over the pond leading to a small waterfall.
Besides the old-world design, many flowers are planted here, including azaleas, pear blossom and golden trumpet trees.
