New to LocoBike? Six steps to ride

From sign-up to checkout, all in the app

  1. Sign up

    Log in with your local mobile number and finish registration with online payment.

  2. Find a bike

    Open the map to locate the nearest bike.

  3. Scan to unlock

    Scan the QR code on the bike to unlock it.

  4. Park in the right spot

    When you’re done, park at a suitable spot shown on the app map.

  5. Lock it

    Close the lock by hand — your fare is settled automatically.

  6. End the ride

    If billing hasn’t stopped after locking, tap “Checkout” on the map.

Every bike has a connected smart lock reporting location and status in real time — scan to open, lock to pay.

Geofenced parking

GPS geofences mark suitable parking spots, guiding orderly parking and keeping pavements clear.

Data for a smarter city

Anonymised ride data helps analyse cycle-track use and parking demand to support community planning.

LocoBike cycling lessons: learn to ride in as little as an hour

Express class (ages 5–12) · Express class (ages 13–60). $180 per 1-hour lesson, or $150 each when two book together — bike and helmet included. Lessons at our Tin Shui Wai, Tsing Yi, Tseung Kwan O, North Point and Kowloon City kiosks.
