Cycling route from Tsun King Road, Fo Tan to Tai Wai Station

Route | Tsun King Road, Fo Tan > Wo Che Estate > Lek Yuen Estate > Che Kung Temple Station > Tai Wai Station

Set off from Tsun King Road, Fo Tan, and ride the cycle track. Before you know it you meet this episode's big boss, the endless slope.
If you are new to cycling or short on energy, get off and push when it is safe.

Watch for pedestrians on the cycle track, and get off and push at MTR station entrances.

This time we take the Tai Po Road section. There are clearly fewer bikes here than along the Shing Mun River.

Past Wo Che Estate and Lek Yuen Estate, you are almost at Sha Tin Market. Because of roadworks behind New Town Plaza, the cycle track is closed,
so turn left, drop into the tunnel, cross the river and carry on.

Past Jat Min and Tsang Tai Uk there is a run of downhill then uphill. Test your brakes before the descent, and if you are short on energy, get off and push when it is safe.

Here is the end of this ride, Tai Wai Station. The cycle track here is fairly busy. Besides watching for other bikes, watch for people stepping onto the track.
