Cycling route from Tuen Mun Station to Castle Peak Road (San Hui) Park

Tuen Mun Station > Choy Yee Bridge > Ching Shan Juk > Castle Peak Road (San Hui) Park

You could say Tuen Mun's cycle tracks cannot be separated from the Light Rail. Ride along the tracks and you will find plenty to photograph
Like Tin Fu Stop, which we introduced last time, Ho Tin Stop also lets you shoot the Light Rail coming down from the viaduct onto level ground. What differs is the sky as the backdrop, and the dense telegraph poles. It has a flavour of its own

There are quite a few bridges over the Tuen Mun River: footbridges, rail bridges and road bridges
You can hardly leave out Choy Yee Bridge. It turns out to have a long history, and the Choy Yee Bridge you see now is not the original
The first Choy Yee Bridge is said to have been built in 1911, at his own expense, by a wealthy merchant surnamed Choi. The bridge you see now was built in 1969, and is the third generation

There are quite a few bridges over the Tuen Mun River: footbridges, rail bridges and road bridges
Walk each bridge with care and you will find a different view. Near Siu Hong Station, by Tuen Mun Hospital, a footbridge lets you photograph a Light Rail train crossing the Tuen Mun River. If you are lucky, you can even frame it with a Tuen Ma Line train below

Near Siu Hong Station there is a place that looks old, with a slightly indie air
Ching Shan Juk was formerly Buddhist Kin Sau Kindergarten, under Ching Leung Fat Yuen
The School of Everyday Life now borrows the space, and from time to time holds markets, workshops and exhibitions
