Cycling route from Ching Chung Koon to Ming Kum Road

Route | Ching Chung Koon > Tsing Tin Playground > Leung King Stop > Ming Kum Road
Ching Chung Koon is a famous Taoist monastery in Hong Kong. It moved several times, and in 1960 it was established at its present site in Kei Lun Wai, Castle Peak, Tuen Mun
The buildings inside follow the great halls of famous Taoist mountains in China. The monastery has the well-known Shun Yeung Hall and Wan Shui Hall, plus a scenic Chinese garden with pavilions and towers

This Loco vlog sets off from Ching Chung Koon! Ride the cycle track around the outside

Over the footbridge, Tai Hing Estate is on the other side
Tai Hing Estate is a great Light Rail photo spot too. If you are interested, cross over and take a few shots

After Tsing Tin Playground there is another footbridge. Take extra care here, especially if you are coming the other way
There is a small corner. If you are not paying attention and shoot down the slope, it is dangerous

This route is another wander-around. Let us stay on the cycle track and see where it can take us
Wander Hong Kong's older estates and it is not hard to find ponds, and little bridges over flowing water
In recent years, with hygiene, saving water and safety in mind, quite a few ponds face demolition or have been left empty

Tuen Mun cannot be separated from the Light Rail, and Tin King and Leung King, which we pass this time, are well worth a photo

The display screens installed before the rail merger are about to be phased out too
