Cycling route from Fanling Centre to Fanling Station

North District map 72

Route | Fanling Centre > Yat Ming Road Park > Fung Ying Seen Koon > Fanling Station

Fanling's cycle tracks are split by the railway and the highway. To get to the other side, you have to cross by footbridge.
Set off on the cycle track behind Fanling Centre and you soon reach one of Fanling's hardest footbridges. The hard part is climbing and turning at the same time. Newer riders, take note.

You'd never know if nobody said! This is also one of the classic photo spots for railfans.
How classic? Classic enough that the old photo turns up in quite a few primary and secondary school textbooks!

When you cycle in North District it's easy to come across pet gardens. In Fanling and Sheung Shui alone there are already 3!

Keep riding along Pak Wo Road, through the park, and you'll be back at Fanling Station.

Fung Ying Seen Koon

  • A Taoist sacred site in Hong Kong. The buildings are full of traditional Chinese colour, and the "Tao Te Ching Wall" presents faith, health cultivation and Taoist philosophy.
  • Distinctive buildings such as the candle furnace and the fortune-stick counter are must-shoot spots for photographers, and the large pavilion in the garden looks out over the whole of Fanling.
  • The vegetarian food at Fung Ying Seen Koon is quite well known. If you are interested, do give it a try.
