Cycling route from Choi Po Court to Fanling Station

This Loco vlog sets off from Choi Po Court. If you're coming from the Tuen Mun–Ma On Shan cycle track or the main water pipe, you can cross the road at Po Shek Wu Estate to join it.

When you cycle, do you ever try roads you don't know?
On this explore-around route we skip the subway for now and keep riding alongside the noise barrier by the cycle track.

The end of this stretch turns out to be Yuk Po Court.
The cycle track is right outside, which is very convenient, but for your sake and everyone else's, never park inside the estate.

The pedestrian subways in North District really each have their own character. This one under Fanling Highway is built of red brick.

And there's actually a sports ground inside the subway?
The entrance is in the middle of the subway. It was built back in 1987, with four basketball courts and one roller-skating rink.
But because the courts sit under the highway bridge, the air is very stale. For the sake of your health, better just take a photo.

We're back on this cycle track you should know very well. A red-brick wall separates it along the way, which you could call a North District cycle track signature.

Before you know it, our explore-around ride is over.
This time we rode to Yuk Po Court and detoured onto Pak Wo Road. When you ride it yourself, it certainly won't take as long as 16 minutes.
Next time you ride, try another route. You might find something new.
