Cycling route from Queen's Hill to Sheung Shui Station

Route | Queen's Hill > North District Park > Sheung Shui Station
When we filmed the first time, part of the Queen's Hill cycle track was still under works.
The second time we went, it was finished.
If you're coming down from the hilltop, you can join this episode's route via the cycle track at the roundabout.

The cycle track below the hill is broken into stretches, and cars are often parked at the junctions. If you go onto the road, watch carefully for traffic!
If you're not confident on a bike, it's best to get off and push.

There are quite a few ways from Fanling to Sheung Shui. This time we take Ma Sik Road, so you can avoid the roundabout where people often lose their way.
When you ride this road through the traffic lights, it's best to ease off.

At Tin Ping Estate, regular riders can take this slope across to the other side.
There's a bend of nearly 90 degrees at the bottom of the descent. Watch your speed and ride slowly and carefully.

North District Park
- The park is designed in the Yangzhou style of the Qing dynasty. At the centre are an artificial lake and a small waterfall, and it is quiet.
- A few bald cypresses planted in the lake turn red around January each year. With the Chinese pavilions and gardens, it is excellent for photos!

22 minutes for the whole ride, and we're at Sheung Shui Station.
When you're done with the bike, park it back in a bike parking area and don't block anyone.
