Cycling route from the twin bridges to Nai Chung
Loco vlog episode 6

Route |
the twin bridges - Tai Shui Hang Cycling Park - We Go MALL - Ma On Shan Park - Wu Kai Sha Youth Village - Nai Chung pebble beach
The twin bridges
- The main cycle track linking both banks of the Shing Mun River with Tai Po. Regular riders will know it, so there's little to add.
- At dusk, with the river on both sides and the Ma On Shan coast, the lights of thousands of homes are especially moving.

We Go MALL
- If you're tired and need to stock up, step into We Go MALL beside the cycle track and cool off in the air-conditioning.
- The mall is bike-friendly, with about 20 bike parking spaces.
- There are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and convenience stores, so you can rest and ride on.

Ma On Shan Park
- The park has a large lawn and a big adventure maze, perfect for children to run around and burn off energy.
- There are toilets and a snack kiosk in the park if you need drinks and food.

Nai Chung pebble beach
- There's a stone bridge on the pebble beach. Stand on it with the sea behind you. At low tide a broken section of the bridge appears, and it's a popular Instagram photo spot.
- If you'd rather not get wet, walk along the red wooden railing. You can look across to Pat Sin Leng and Plover Cove Reservoir. Further on there are more must-photo spots, including #NaiChungPier and #JapaneseStyleForest.

Things to note |
- Near Lee On on Sai Sha Road you have to climb a long slope, and vehicles may turn into the subway after it. There's a blind spot, so watch your speed.
- Check the tide times. Nai Chung pebble beach is better for views at low tide!
- When you finish, park the bike back in a bike parking area and don't block anyone.
