Cycling route from Nai Chung to Ma On Shan Station
Loco vlog episode 7

Route |
Nai Chung > Sai Sha Road > Ma On Shan Town Centre
Nai Chung pebble beach
- There's a stone bridge on the pebble beach. Stand on it with the sea behind you. At low tide a broken section of the bridge appears, and it's a popular Instagram photo spot.
- If you'd rather not get wet, walk along the red wooden railing. You can look across to Pat Sin Leng and Plover Cove Reservoir. Further on there are more must-photo spots, including #NaiChungPier and #JapaneseStyleForest.

Sai Sha Road
- The Sai Sha Road cycle track passes several estates. After the subway you can go straight on to Ma On Shan Town Centre, or turn right along Ma On Shan Promenade towards Sha Tin or Tai Po.
Ma On Shan Town Centre
- After the ride you have to sort your stomach out first. Ma On Shan Town Centre has 2 shopping malls, with plenty of restaurants covering Chinese, Western and Japanese food.
- Near the malls, many bus routes run to districts across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, and a passage connects to Ma On Shan MTR Station, so getting home is very easy.

- Check the tide times. Nai Chung pebble beach is better for views at low tide!
- For your sake and everyone else's, park the bike back in a bike parking area when you finish, and don't block anyone.
