Cycling route from Hong Kong Velodrome to Tiu Keng Leng Station

You can tell from the name that the Hong Kong Velodrome means business! But I'm nowhere near as strong a cyclist as an athlete...
The velodrome is not only a cycling track. It also has a gym, a children's playroom and other facilities.
And it is fine if you don't feel like exercising!

The Alchemist Cafe
Mention The Alchemist Cafe and plenty of you will have been. The branch at the Hong Kong Velodrome is the one most people like best.
It is quieter and more comfortable here, with a big glass window looking out over the lawn and a small pool. It is perfect for sitting down to lunch or afternoon tea with friends before you ride on.

Outside the velodrome there is also a "shared cycle path" running through to Hang Hau and Sheung Tak. Watch for pedestrians as you ride.

Riding the cycle track, you will notice Tseung Kwan O really does have more and more malls!
Besides Don Don Donki, there are plenty of Chinese, Western, Japanese and Korean places, and photo-worthy cafes, to choose from!

If you want a walk after eating your fill, try the BMCPC Footpath beside Tiu Keng Leng Station. It is 1500 metres long. About a 20-minute walk brings you to Tseung Kwan O Chinese Permanent Cemetery, and the viewing platforms along the way look out over Tathong Channel.

Note that this entrance is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and it is for people on foot only. Park your bike at the bike parking and do not take it in.
