Cycling route from Hung Tin Road to Chung Uk Tsuen Station

Route | Hung Tin Road > Hung Fuk Estate > Hung Shui Kiu Station > Chung Uk Tsuen Station

This Loco vlog sets off from Hung Tin Road,
The cycle track crosses a level crossing. Watch for the Light Rail, and take care that your wheels do not drop into the rail groove

After the level crossing, turn right before the first junction and you are almost at Hung Fuk Estate
New public housing estates and Home Ownership Scheme courts in the New Territories these days come with cycle tracks, and this one is no exception



At the end, turn left for the way back
Leave the construction site beside you out of the frame and it has quite a village-town feel



Back out on the main road is Hung Shui Kiu Station
Once you are in Hung Shui Kiu you can hardly skip this tunnel: green walls, round little windows along the side, and a very distinctive design


The cycle track runs on alongside the Light Rail tracks, and good spots for photographing the Light Rail are everywhere
When you stop for a photo, do not leave the bike in the middle of the path. Watch that you are not blocking other people on the cycle track!

Besides the places above, Hung Shui Kiu has plenty more worth seeing, including the Hung Shui Kiu drainage channel, Tan Kwai Tsuen and Hung Shui Hang Reservoir
Just do not leave a LocoBike inside. If you ride in, remember to ride back out!
