Yuen Chau Kok Complex is close to an MTR station and a bus terminus, but walking over and then waiting for a ride can still take more than 10 minutes.
This time we set off on the cycle track behind Prince of Wales Hospital!

Sand Martin Bridge

If you have seen the film Weeds on Fire, this name will be familiar.
It stands midstream on the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin, linking Sha Tin town centre and Sha Tin Wai.
Its name comes from the Sand Martins, the first Chinese youth baseball team of the early 1980s.
The year after it was formed, it entered the Hong Kong Little League Open and took the title. The result was outstanding.
Sha Tin District Council and the Home Affairs Department later decided to name this bridge Sand Martin Bridge.

After the bridge, along the tree-lined avenue, you reach this episode's destination, Sha Tin Park.
When you have finished with the bike, park it back at the bicycle parking nearby.
