Cycling route from Sha Tin Park to Tai Shui Hang Cycling Park

This Loco vlog sets off from Sha Tin Park. Open the Loco app and you can find roughly where the LocoBikes are. Walk a little further along the Shing Mun River and they should not be hard to find.

Most people go straight on, riding along Lek Yuen and Wo Che. This time we take the first slope and turn up onto Sand Martin Bridge.

If you have seen the film Weeds on Fire, this name will be familiar. It comes from the background of the film: the Sand Martins, the first Chinese youth baseball team.

This side has more ups and downs, but there are trees along both sides, so it is not too hard.

Along the way, several tunnels lead to Sha Kok Estate, the Regal Riverside Hotel and City One.
Ride a little further along the cycle track and you will see one of Sha Tin's landmarks, the Sha Tin Floating Restaurant.

Compared with the cycle track outside the racecourse, this one is much quieter. At dusk, watching the sunset with a breeze on your face is rather nice.

Ride another 5-7 minutes and you reach this episode's finish, Tai Shui Hang Cycling Park.
When you have finished riding, park the bike back at a bicycle parking place. Don't just leave it anywhere!
